Director of Accounting

Lead accounting and financial operations for a fast-growing tech & AI company — own financial controls, compliance, reporting and partnerships with external auditors and advisors.

Tasks:

• Oversee month-end close, financial statements, and GAAP-compliant reporting.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll operations and treasury functions.
• Implement scalable accounting processes and internal controls appropriate for VC-backed / growth-stage companies.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting and financial strategy.
• Coordinate audits, tax filing, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of accounting experience; public accounting, SaaS/tech experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with accounting systems/ERP (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise).
• Experience leading a finance team and working with external auditors.
• Excellent analytical skills and a results-oriented approach.
