Applied Research Engineer

Bridge research and product by turning state-of-the-art models into reliable, production-ready systems that deliver customer value.

Tasks:

• Prototype research ideas into scalable production services and demos.
• Work closely with researchers to reproduce and optimize models for inference.
• Optimize model latency, throughput and cost for production constraints.
• Instrument experiments and maintain reproducible pipelines for model deployment.
• Collaborate with product to prioritize research for user impact.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in ML engineering or applied research with strong Python skills.
• Hands-on with model optimization, quantization, distillation and inference engineering.
• Experience deploying ML models on cloud services and container orchestration (K8s).
• Familiarity with model monitoring, A/B testing and rollout strategies.
